Like Salome, the mother of James and John, caring and well-meaning family members can sometimes unintentionally pursue recognition, position, or achievement as the measure of a successful life.

Jesus, however, invites us to see success through the values of His Kingdom—where greatness is found in humility, loving service, and a willingness to follow wherever He leads. Even when our priorities become misplaced, God continues to work through our imperfect families, gently redirecting our hearts toward His greater purpose.
