In Part 1 of Growing Young, Pastor Andrew explores research revealing what does—and doesn’t—help youth and young adults remain actively connected to their faith and church community. More importantly, he invites us to look to the example of Jesus.

Are we prepared to disciple, mentor, encourage, and trust the next generation as Jesus shepherded and entrusted His young disciples? Are we willing to make room for their gifts, their questions, their voices, and their leadership?

May God give us wisdom and willing hearts as we seek to become a church where every generation is valued, where young people are known and loved, and where all can find a place to belong, grow, serve, and follow Jesus together.
